ABOUT US

The organization "Muslim Community of Québec" (MCQ), also known as "Communauté Musulmane du Québec," operates under the Constitution established on March 26, 1981. Its headquarters is located at 7445 Chester Avenue, Montréal, Quebec, Canada. The organizational structure includes the General Body, Council of Trustees, President and the Executive Committee, Imam, and various Committees. Additionally, MCQ is responsible for entities such as Montreal Mosque(Mosquée de Montréal),  Muslim Schools of Montréal(Écoles Musulmanes de Montréal), and the Islamic Research Institute Canada (Institut de Recherche Islamique Canada).

Registered as a charity organization, MCQ has been in operation for 43 years, equivalent to 1,356,048,000 seconds.

Muslim Community of Quebec (MCQ):
Description: The Muslim Community of Quebec (MCQ) is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for Muslims in Quebec. Through a range of community services, MCQ aims to strengthen bonds, nurture personal development, and contribute positively to the broader society.

Mission: To foster unity, support, and well-being within the Muslim community of Quebec, promoting social harmony, cultural diversity, and positive engagement with the broader community.

Vision: A thriving Muslim community in Quebec that is integrated, respected, and actively contributes to the social, cultural, and educational fabric of the region, embodying the principles of compassion, tolerance, and mutual understanding.

Objectives: Facilitate community development through inclusive programs and initiatives.
Provide social and welfare services to enhance the quality of life for community members.
Promote interfaith dialogue and collaboration for a harmonious coexistence.
Engage in charitable activities to address the needs of the less fortunate.

Montreal Mosque:
Description: Montreal Mosque is a place of worship and community gathering, dedicated to serving the spiritual needs of Muslims in Montreal. Beyond prayers, the mosque actively engages in educational and community-building initiatives, contributing to the cultural and religious diversity of the city.

Mission: To provide a spiritual haven for Muslims in Montreal, offering a space for worship, community engagement, and religious education.

Vision: A vibrant and welcoming mosque that serves as a center for spiritual growth, community cohesion, and interfaith understanding.

Objectives:
Facilitate regular prayers and religious services for the Muslim community.

Islamic Research Institute Canada: A Platform for Research to Explore Islam through Its Scriptures.
